Barbara R Melvin is currently with Wells Fargo where she is a Vice President/ Sr. Business Relationship Manager. She serves on many Boards such as The Haitian Coalition of Collier County, The Collier County NAACP, Collier County Education Foundation, President Elect and Banking Chair of The Small Business Resource Network, FGCU Advisory Board, and many other organizations.
Barbara was recognized in 2010 by the FGCU Sisterhood Award from the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for her commitment to support education, speaking engagements and financial literacy programs. In March 2009, she was recognized as a Women of Achievement by the American Association of University Women (AAUW). An award given to women who have made significant contributions to the community through their volunteer activities. Barbara was also awarded The Gulfshore Magazine 40 under 40 for her achievements and community participation.
Barbara is married to Daniel Melvin, local singer and performer.
